• Ward Alderman of Ward One, representing Newton villages Nonantum &  Newton Corner
• First Elected to the Board of Aldermen in January, 2002
• Currently serving on Board committees as:
1. Vice Chairman, Finance Committee and Chairman of the newly-created Audit Subcommittee
2. Member - Public Safety and Transportation Committee
3. Member - Community Preservation Committee
4. Business Recycling Working Group

• Employed as a Government Auditor for the last 11 years with audit experience on the federal, state & local levels
• Currently employed as an Audit Manager, focusing on Homeland Security funding, in the Office of State Auditor Joseph DeNucci
• Candidate for Certification as a Government Financial Manager through the Association of Government Accountants
• Member - Board of Directors, John M. Barry Boys & Girls Club of Newton
• Treasurer - Newton Services Unit of Salvation Army
• Graduate of Newton Public Schools and Merrimack College
